hosts first event at Austin National Smokers' new shop
The
four standard KCBS categories: ribs, chicken, brisket and
pork were the order of the day for the 20+ men and women who
met May 22, 2004 for a cooking class at the Noblesville, Indiana
facility of The Austin National Smoker Company. The class
attendees, who came from as far away as California and New
York, gathered to learn barbecue secrets from reigning Florida
BBQ Association Champions, Kevin and Clara Bevington of HomeBBQ.com.
During
the course of the all day event, Kevin shared tips on meat
preparation, marinades, injections, cooking, and presentation.
At the end of the class, everyone enjoyed the meat that they
had spent the day planning and preparing and looked forward
to going home and sharing what they had learned with family
and friends.
The
Austin National Smoker Company is honored that Kevin and Clara
held their first cooking class at the company’s facilities,
and look forward to hosting many more cooking classes with
the Bevingtons in the future.
